I listed a duplex with an ADU with him @ Gateway Real Estate.....John, has a lot of POSITIVE experience in the industry, especially with income producing properties like duplexes and multi family units....His approach is very Seller first.....My sale was challenging in that I apparently had a non conforming ADU dwelling unit that needed to be decommissioned before they would approve the Septic RSS for the Duplex.....John was able to hold onto the buyer through all the red tape with the County.....He has excellent negotiating skills and always kept me in the loop, which is not easy since I do not work off a smart phone and would check emails off my desktop when I could....Rarely in this climate do I encounter top notch people I deal with but, John Is at the very top.....If you are reading this review, you must be looking for a trouble free transaction with your sale.....THIS IS THE GUY.....A+A+A+A+A+

John was a phenomenal realtor when my significant other and I were looking to buy a house. He is extremely patient and answers every question no matter how simple it may seem. We worked with John for nearly a year after we moved to Washington and started looking for a house. We started looking in crowded areas thinking we wanted a short commute, and when we decided we wanted something completely different, seclusion without neighbors, John had no problem changing gears to help us find a property we very much enjoy. I was afraid selling this house was going to be a huge headache, but working with John made the process as smooth and as easy as it could be with the circumstances we had.

John did a very good job for me and for my brother's estate, of which I am the personal representative, and did so despite my living far distant from the Tacoma area. John was great in all respects. He took care of things that I could not do from my distance, including arranging for electrical and other work that needed to be done. I think got us a fair price on a property that was somewhat unique. I could not have asked for better service. He also seems like a real nice man. I am very pleased.

We had another tough one for Mr. Brink. We had a rental that was roughed up so we decided to sell and aim high on price. Mr. Brink offered several solid suggestions on what to fix and fit in a very limited budget.
When offers did not come in right away, He went and pushed a new marketing strategy and pictures rather than ask for price drop. This was successful. During the inspection phase Mr. Brink performance surpassed any agent I have heard of. The inspector called out the hot water heater for being really old. We knew it worked and didn't have a swap in the budget. Seller buyer impasse. MR. Brink went in to problem solver mode and looked up the serial numbers and proved the inspector made a mistake and it was in fact newer and still under warranty. After that he found a gutter company that was 50% cheaper than my regular company and handled the entire transaction and inspections while I was on vacation. Mr. Brink gets the deal done!

John was amazing! He has experience as a contractor and Realtor so he was able to help with all the little cosmetic and structural issues that might come up when looking for a home. I have never before met a Realtor who would actually crawl under a house to inspect it with a customer. His knowledge of building codes and “how to” for doing upgrades saved hours of time doing research and planning. He was available after hours and would take as long as it needed to find the right house.
